Xolo has announced that it will launch a quad core phone, called Q1000 Opus, in India. However, unlike the older Xolo Q1000, the new handset will come with a Broadcom chipset, though this time it is quad core.
The Xolo Q1000 Opus will come with a 5 inch display with HD resolution. Besides, as per reports, it will have Android 4.2 Jelly Bean operating system, an 8 megapixel rear camera, 1.2 megapixel front camera, 1 GB RAM, 4 GB internal memory, and a micro SD card slot.
It will have Broadcom's BCM47334 connectivity combo chip and BCM4752 multi-constellation GNSS location chip to deliver high performance and a feature-rich experience at an attractive price, Xolo claimed in a press release. The phone is also said to provide better WiFi streaming, simultaneously share and project HD video, photos and gaming applications to a larger screen via Miracast.
No other information about the phone is available right now.
