Amkette, an Indian company, has launched a Bluetooth enabled keyboard for smartphones and tablets. The keypad, which looks like a normal laptop keyboard, is currently available for around Rs 2,600 from online stores.
Weighing less than 300 grams, the Amkette all in one Smart keyboard is designed with an inbuilt rechargeable battery that claims to last over 140 hours. The 'durable' keyboard comes with a metal bottom, carry case, and can be easily adjusted in a handbag or coat pocket for use outside the home or even while travelling. The all in one Smart keyboard also has hotkeys for music controls, volume, home, menu and back, specifically made for iOS and Android devices.
Speaking on the launch, Rajiv Bapna, director, Amkette, said, "As more and more types of screens are coming in touch form, people look forward to an easy to use Qwerty keyboard that they connect their gadgets to and rest on. The Amkette all in one Smart keyboard is an answer to consumers' need of an affordable, durable, portable device with an inbuilt stand for ease of use."
