Huawei is reportedly working on a super-slim smartphone and successor of the Ascend P6 smartphone. The purported Ascend P6S is expected to arrive with Huawei's own quad-core chipset. The smartphone will be basically the successor and tweaked version of the Ascend P6. Richard Lai from Engadget China posted that the Ascend P6S will feature quad-core HiSilicon K3V2+ mobile processor.
Huawei did manage to grab eyeballs with the Ascend P6 - regarded as the slimmest smartphone of the world - earlier this year. Its successor, Huawei Ascend P6S is expected to create a similar magic. In this smartphone, Huawei will use a quad-core 1.6 Ghz HiSilicon K3V2+ mobile system-on-chip with 2 GB RAM. The new HiSilicon K3V2+ is manufactured using 28nm fabrication process technology.
The Ascend P6S will run Android 4.x Jelly Bean or higher and expected to arrive in coming few weeks.
