Gone are the days when Nokia used to have monopoly over the mobile phone market. Now, there are dozens of smartphone makers in India. And together they churn out hundreds of smartphones every year. Now a situation has arrived where there are a number of smartphones with identical features, especially in the sub-Rs 10,000 price segment.
We have tried to bring best handsets list for every price bracket from time to time. Recently, we have covered the Top 5 smartphones under Rs 10,000 , Top 5 smartphones between Rs 10,000-Rs 20,000 , Top 5 smartphones between Rs 20,000 -Rs 30,000 , and Top 5 smartphones above Rs 30,000 .
However, Android being the most popular operating system, we felt it imperative to make a list of top 5 Android smartphones under Rs 10,000. We have selected the handsets on the basis of their features and some of them were also reviewed by The Mobile Indian in the past.
Spice Stellar Pinnacle Pro Mi-535
It was launched earlier this year in April for Rs 14,990 but now it is available for as low as Rs 9,999 (Saholic). We had also reviewed the Spice Stellar Pinnacle Pro which impressed us with its design, battery life, and 5 megapixel wide angle front camera.
The Spice Stellar Pinnacle Pro has an impressive list of features that include 1.2 GHz quad core processor, Android 4.2 Jelly Bean operating system, 1 GB RAM, 16 GB internal storage (12.6 GB is available for users), and 32 GB micro SD card slot. Moreover, it has 8 megapixel auto focus rear camera with dual LED flash. On the front it has a huge 5 megapixel wide angle front camera.
For connectivity, this 3G smartphone has Bluetooth 4.0, WiFi , and micro USB port. It comes with GPS with A-GPS support for navigation. The Spice Stellar Pinnacle Pro Mi-535 has a huge 5.3 inch IPS-LCD display with 960x540 pixel resolution. To run this huge device, Spice has fitted a 2550 mAh Li-Po battery, which as we said in the review as well, gives very good back up.
