So should you go for the best camera phone of Nokia or the quad core phablet of the company? Here we have compared the two devices on the basis of their features to give you some idea:

Design and display

The most glaring difference between the two is form. Lumia 1020 is 130.4 mm tall, 71.4 mm wide and 10.4 mm thick. Lumia 1520 is 162.8 mm tall, 85.4 mm wide and 8.7 mm thick. Despite its 6 inch display, the Lumia 1520 is much slimmer than the 4.5 inch Lumia 1020.

Lumia 1020 has a 4.5 inch Amoled display with 1280 x 768 pixel (HD) resolution. The display has ClearBlack technology, which is said to give good contrast. The screen is also protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 3. It has high sunlight readability and super sensitive touch response.

The Nokia Lumia 1520 has a 6 inch touchscreen. This is an IPS LCD touchscreen and not Amoled. However, it too has Corning Gorillas Glass 3, ClearBlack technology, super sensitive touch, and high sunlight legibility. It is to be note that the Lumia 1520's screen comes with full HD (1920 x 1080 pixel resolution,) which means it has 367 ppi pixel density, as compared to 331 ppi pixel density of Lumia 1020.

Camera

This is the second major difference between the two. With a 41 megapixel Pureview primary camera, the Lumia 1020 is well ahead of the Lumia 1520, which has a 20 megapixel Pureview camera. However, both have a 1.2 megapixel front camera.

Processor and performance

Both smartphones come with Windows Phone 8 operating system and 2 GB RAM, but the dual core 1.5 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 based Lumia 1020 is no match for the Nokia Lumia 1520, which comes with a 2.2 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 quad core processor.
