Nokia will soon launch the Lumia 525 in the 1st week of January next year. Nokia announced this during its 6th annual strategy sharing summit which is currently underway in Goa. The phone will be made available in gloss orange, white, yellow, and matte black with changeable shells.
Though the Finnish handset company, which has been taken over by Microsoft recently, has not revealed its price yet, we expect it to be in the affordable category. Currently, Lumia 520 is the cheapest (costs about Rs 8,000) Windows Phone 8 operating system based smartphone of Nokia.
Nokia Lumia 525 was recently unveiled . It comes with a 4 inch IPS LCD display with 800x480 pixels resolution. This 9.9 mm thick smartphone has 1 GHz Snapdragon S4 dual core processor and 1 GB RAM. It has healthy 8 GB internal storage and 64 GB expandable storage slot as well.
The Lumia 525 has a 1430 mAh battery which is claimed to provide 14 days of standby, or 16.9 hours 2G talktime, or 10.6 hours of 3G talktime. The 3G handset has WiFi , Bluetooth 4.0, GPS , and micro USB 2.0 for connectivity. There is a 5 megapixel rear camera with f/2.4 aperture in the Lumia 525. However, it has no flash nor there is any mention of front camera in the listing.
