HTC is reportedly working on a mid-range device that would be a mash-up of its One and Desire series of devices. Codenamed as HTC Zara, this smartphone will feature 4.5-inch display and will be powered by dual-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 mobile processor. This device will feature polycarbonate like plastic chassis. AndroidGuys reported some of the preliminary information about the HTC Zara specifications.
HTC Desire and One series design styles will be mixed to create the new HTC Zara smartphone. This device feature 960x540 pixel resolution for the 4.5-inch screen size. HTC will pack a dual-core 1.2 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 mobile processor and 1 GB RAM to make the Sense 5.0 loaded Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean version run smoothly on the phone.
HTC will also add the new 1.4 megapixel camera with UltraPixel imaging technology in Zara. This HTC Zara will pack only 8 GB internal storage but there will be a memory card slot to expand the memory. Other known features include Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n and Bluetooth 4.0 support. So far, there is no information on the launch date and price of this device.
