BlackBerry has been rumored for working on a large display bearing BlackBerry 10 OS smartphone - A10 Z00 Aristo. Vietnamese website Tinhte posted a video and images of the BlackBerry A10 "Z00" prototype handset. The BlackBerry A10 "Z00” is claimed to be the company's first large screen device. There is no word on the launch date of this handset.
The BlackBerry A10 prototype carried Z00 marking so it is quite likely it will be branded in the Z series of touchscreen BlackBerry 10 OS devices. BlackBerry will use a 5-inch Amoled display with HD resolution. Under the chassis, it will pack a dual-core 1.7 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 MSM8960 mobile processor paired with 2 GB RAM and 16 GB on-board storage.
At the rear is a 8 megapixel camera with LED Flash for HD imaging and in the front lies a 2 megapixel camera for video calls. By default, this handset will arrive with BlackBerry 10.2 OS version pre-loaded. Other features include micro USB port, Micro HDMI out, WiFi , DLNA and NFC chip.
BlackBerry will pack a massive 2800 mAh battery to power the large 5-inch Amoled display and hopefully takes care of the battery woes experienced with the Z10 handset.
