Google, which recently announced the new Nexus 7 tablet with full HD display and Android 4.3 Jelly Bean, will also launch an updated version of Nexus 10 soon, Sundar Pichai, head of Android and Chrome at Google, was quoted as saying by a reporter of The Wall Street Journal at the press event held at the Google Headquarters in Mountain View, California.
Samsung made Nexus 10 tablet features a 10-inch display and delivers the same vanilla Android Nexus experience without any custom skin layer on top of that. Samsung and Google teamed up to present Nexus experience on 10-inch display bearing tablet Nexus 10. This tablet's display has 2560x1600 pixel resolution and has been made using Corning Gorilla Glass 2 technology for strength. The Nexus 10 is 8.9 mm thick and features a 5 megapixel camera at the back with LED Flash and autofocus. This camera can record 1080p HD video and the 1.9 megapixel in the front for video calling.
The Samsung tablet comes with a dual-core 1.7 GHz Samsung Exynos 5250 mobile processor with Mali-T604 graphics chip with 2 GB RAM. By default it features 16 GB and 32 GB storage options. Even with the new Nexus 7 tablet, Google continues to hold it stand against providing micro SD card slot in the Nexus experience devices.
So far, there are no details available on the new Nexus 10 tablet but we can expect Samsung to pack its new Exynos 5 Octa eight core chip or maybe Google will make them choose the Qualcomm Snapdragon 600 mobile processor. That is just our assumption.
