Intex Mobiles has formally launched a new phablet, called Aqua i7, with 5-inch display for Rs 21,900.
Intex Aqua i7 smartphone features a 5-inch display manufactured using Corning Gorilla Glass technology. This display has a native 1280x1080 pixel resolution and is equipped with one glass solution. The Aqua 17 is powered by a quad-core 1.5 GHz mobile processor and 2 GB RAM to make Android 4.2 Jelly Bean run smoothly.
At its rear lies a 13 megapixel autofocus camera with an LED Flash that is expected to capture high quality images as well as full 1080p HD videos. There is a 5 megapixel front facing camera capable of recording HD videos. This dual-SIM smartphone also supports 3G network SIM in one slot. Besides, the smartphone has WiFi , Bluetooth 4.0 and GPS .
It has several innovative features like the My Screen that allows using four functions simultaneously. The Look Away feature pauses the video playback when the user looks away - mimicking similar feature offered by Samsung and LG. Intex Aqua i7 also comes pre-loaded with "Matrabhasha" - a multi-lingual application that allows a user to operate the phone in preferred regional language supporting upto 22 regional languages including: Hindi, Urdu, Tamil, Bengali, Assamese, Punjabi, Gujarati, Sanskrit, Maithili, Marathi, Bodo, Santhali, Manipuri, Sindhi, Dogri, Konkani, Nepali and more.
Intex Mobiles has packed a 2000 mAh battery in the Aqua i7 that promises 7 hours of talk time and 220 hours of standby time. Intex offers free accessories worth Rs 5,500 with the phone including a flip cover, Cloud space, screen guard, limited edition key chain and pen signed by Farhan Akhtar.
