Gmail for Android gets new conversation view, better multi-selection

Google has pushed out a new nifty update for its official email service app " Gmail, for Android. The new update tweaks the look and feel of the Gmail app just a bit. The emails are presented in a card style format and more interesting features.

Gmail app for Android offers multiple selection of messages by clicking on large icon on the left of an email. With the new update, the selected emails will now show checkmarks so that users can easily see the selected messages and then do the necessary action to delete or archive them.

Other change is the new Card style conversation view that keeps the top bar showing sender's name, star option and quick reply button handy while one can continue scrolling the email.

One of the most important improvements is the indicator to inform if the Account Sync is turned off. No new emails will be missed out if you keep the Account Sync on.
