Apple discontinued iPhone 4, slashes price in India

Apple, which had recently announced its iPhone 5c and iPhone 5s , seems to have discontinued the iPhone 4 model in India. The smartphone is no longer visible on Apple's website. Further as a confirmation of the same, Apple has silently cut the price of the iPhone 4.

Now many online retailers are selling the 8 GB and 16 GB model of iPhone 4 for around Rs 21,700 and Rs 25,000 respectively. These models were available for around Rs 26,500 (8 GB) and Rs 31,500 (16 GB) respectively

Apple discontinued iPhone 4

This would be a logical move as Apple has recently been rumoured to be discontinuing even the iPhone 5. Earlier this year, Apple has even started a buy back offer to clear out the stocks of its iPhone 4 model .

Launched in 2010, the Apple iPhone 4 comes with a 1 GHz processor, 5 megapixel rear camera, VGA front camera, 3.5 inch display, 1420 mAh battery and iOS 4 operating system which is upgradable to iOS 6.1.3 version.
