Twitter's short video sharing application, Vine is now available for the Windows Phone 8 running devices and offers some of the basic features on the platform. Not all recent features have been baked in to this first version of the Vine app but it is certainly usable.
Vine is a short video sharing social network acquired by Twitter and competes with popular Instagram service that offers similar feature. Official Vine app will let the Windows Phone users instantly upload unlimited videos to the Vine community and can share them over Twitter and Facebook directly.
Users can check the trending posts, search using hashtags and even pin favourite Vine accounts/channels to the homescreen. The Vine app also brings a live tile support and users can connect to vine from within the camera itself. The developers are yet to include new sessions feature that allows saving video edits.
Vine app for Windows Phone can be downloaded from the Windows Phone store .
