Asus working on Nexus 10 tablet-Report

Asus, which recently introduced the Nexus 7 (2013) model, is reportedly working on a 10 inch display bearing Nexus tablet. As per the report of Phandroid, the tablet will be priced at $349. If the reported screenshot is true, then the Nexus 10 indeed will be introduced anytime soon.

Google and Samsung had introduced the Samsung made Nexus 10 tablet to deliver the Nexus experience on the 10-inch display bearing tablet. The next version of the Nexus 10 tablet is expected to be made by Asus. As per the spotted listing, the price of the Nexus 10 tablet is set to be $349. Unfortunately, Google did not offer the Nexus 10 officially in many markets including India.

The new Nexus 10 is expected to feature same 10-inch display with 2560x1600 pixel resolution natively made with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 technology. When it comes to processor, it is quite obvious that Google must have decided to go with Qualcomm Snapdragon 600 or 800 system on a chip with 2 GB RAM. The tablet can be expected to feature 16 GB and 32 GB on-board storage.

The Nexus 10 (2012) has a massive 9000 mAh battery that provides longer run time. Hopefully the same or bigger battery is added to the new Asus made Nexus 10 tablet that would likely to come with 3G SIM slot and support for 4G LTE networks. We speculate that the Nexus 10 tablet will be launched with Android 4.4 KitKat update.
