Hong Kong based Sunstrike International has made its debut in the Indian market with two new large screen smartphones - OptimaSmart OPS 80 and OptimaSmart OPS 80Q - and an affordable tablet called OptimaSmart OPT 221DS. Like many other Indian mobile makers, Sunstrike aims to provide decent smartphones, tablets at an affordable price point. The new OptimaSmart OPS 80 features 5.4-inch display and is price at Rs 9,999 with best buy price of Rs 8,449. The OptimaSmart OPS 80Q has a 5.0-inch display and costs Rs 7,999.
The new OptimaSmart OPS 80 smartphone flaunts a 5.4-inch display with 480x800 pixel resolution by default. This multi-touch capacitive display is big enough for the budget segment and can support video call using the 1.2 megapixel front facing camera. At the rear lies 8 megapixel camera with flash and it runs Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich update.
This smartphone packs 1 GHz mobile processor with 512 MB RAM and 4 GB on-board storage along with memory card slot to support up to 32 GB micro SD card. Measuring 10.9 mm thick, the OPS 80 comes with two SIM slots, one for 3G network and the other for 2G. It also packs the usual set of features - WiFi , Bluetooth , FM Radio and 3.5 mm audio port. The company has not mentioned the battery capacity but promised to offer 6 hours of talk time and 240 hours of standby time.

Measuring mere 9.9 mm thick, this smartphone is powered by a quad-core 1.2 GHz mobile processor with 512 MB RAM and 4 GB on-board storage along with memory card slot. This smartphone has a 2 megapixel front facing camera and an 8 megapixel camera at the back with flash. The OPS 80Q runs Android 4.2.1 Jelly Bean update by default and offers dual-SIM configuration with support for 3G network SIM in one slot. There is no information on battery capacity of this handset either but it is listed to provide 6 hours of talk time and 240 hours of standby time.
New OptimaSmart OPT 221DS tablet features a 7-inch display with 1024x600 pixel resolution. This tablet has a dual-core 1.2 GHz Cortex A9 mobile processor, 512 MB RAM, and 4 GB on-board storage. It has a 2 megapixel camera with flash at the rear and 0.3 megapixel camera in the front. This tablet also supports dual-SIM configuration with voice calling. This tablet runs Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean update and packs 3000 mAh battery. It also features memory card slot to expand the storage. The best buy price of this tablet is Rs 7,950.
