Nokia has been rumored of working on a Windows RT based device since months. Now The Verge has reported about a 10.1-inch display bearing Nokia tablet, codenamed Sirius. Nokia will use Microsoft's Windows RT operating system on this tablet. Nokia is expected to reveal this tablet late next month at a special event scheduled in New York, USA.
As per the report, the Nokia Sirius tablet features a 10.1-inch touchscreen display with 1080p HD native resolution. This tablet will power the 2.15 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 System-on-Chip with 2 GB RAM. It will feature 32 GB on-board storage and also feature memory card slot.
The Sirius tablet will also be equipped with HDMI port and USB 3.0 port. There will also be an USB port to connect with dockable keyboard. Nokia is planning to offer 10 hours of battery life with a built-in battery. And the dockable keyboard may offer additional battery life.
Nokia is expected introduce this Windows RT based tablet sometime later this year.
