Location based check-in application, Foursquare has released an updated application for its Android application. The application now comes complete with background notification to help users discover more while they check-in to their favorite neighborhood or place.
Meanwhile, there are rumors that Microsoft has approached Foursquare for an investment opportunity. However, according to sources , Foursquare spokesperson Brendan Lewis has dismissed the reports.
