Apple is reported to be working on the next generation iPhone model to be branded iPhone 5S. Apple is rumoured to be making two major changes in its iPhone model line-up - a new colour for iPhone and an affordable iPhone model. Since the last couple of weeks, a new colour model iPhone 5S is making the rounds tagged with a Gold coloured chassis image. French website NoWhereElse published images of the Champagne Gold colour chassis of the purported iPhone 5S with iPhone 5 white and slate grey models.
Clear images of the Champagne Gold coloured iPhone 5S certainly make things interesting for Apple iPhone loyalists. So far, specifications of the iPhone 5S have not been confirmed but are merely speculated. The 4 inch Retina display resolution more or less remains the same at 1136 x 640 pixel. Apple would only make it worse for developers by changing it. iPhone 5S will most likely pack an Apple A7 system-on-chip inside it to power the system that will run the iOS 7 update.
The internal design of the chassis will also undergo some changes to accommodate a few other components inside with the same battery size. We can only look forward to the 128 GB iPhone 5S if we're comfortable with the fact that its price might burn a hole in the bank balance.
The Mobile Indian reported that Apple is expected to launch the iPhone 5S and iPhone 5C on September 10. Both new models will be made available in select markets from September 20 onwards.
