Samsung has already set the date for the Galaxy Note III announcement - September 4. The next phablet flagship will be unveiled in Berlin a couple of days prior to the IFA 2013 expo.
There have been lots of leaks and rumors about the Samsung Galaxy Note III, but today's piece of info comes from a reliable source - the phablet has passed the DLNA certification routine. The documents reveal the Galaxy Note III runs on the latest Android 4.3 Jelly Bean and supports Wi-Fi a/ac/b/g/n connectivity. You can find the Note III under its N900S/N900K/N900L model numbers corresponding to the Korea-bound units.
Samsung Galaxy Note III is rumored to pack a 5.7" 1080p Super AMOLED display and run on either Snapdragon 800 chipset or Samsung's own second generation Exynos Octa platform depending on the market. The rest of the rumored specs include 3GB or RAM, an improved 13MP camera (over the Galaxy S4) with optical image stabilization, and a 3450 mAh battery.
The Unpacked 2013 Episode 2 event is scheduled for September 4 and we'll be there to cover it for you.
