Social networking giant Facebook has announced the launch of its updated application for the BlackBerry devices. The new application is available for BlackBerry OS 10 devices and comes with an improved user interface than the older BlackBerry Facebook version and has been improved to offer the OS10 like access to the users.
The application also comes integrated with Facebook chat and now users can even see when their messages are delivered and read by the receiver. Users with the latest application even see when the other person is typing and can also make favorite groups and even search within the chat.
Scrolling through the posts on the timeline and wall is smoother as compared to earlier. Also Facebook Messages offer details on when the particular message was sent to them right within the mobile app.
The Facebook app for BlackBerry version 10.2.1 provides a new and easier way of setting profile and cover photos. Users can set their Facebook profile photo or cover photo right from the camera app, or simply from within a Facebook photo album. The application is available free of cost form the BlackBerry application store.
