Apple to debut thin iPad, iPad Mini with Retina display later this year: Report


Apple's upcoming fifth generation iPad tablet and iPad Mini with Retina display will be launched in the fourth quarter of this year, according to a report of Bloomberg .


The next generation iPad tablet will feature new Apple processor and higher resolution packing Retina display. Quite possibly, the new iPad tablet would have the same resolution as its predecessors - 2048x1536 with 264 pixels per inch. At the rear would be powerful iSight Camera and the front facing FaceTime HD supporting camera.

Major change will come in the iPad Mini tablet that currently sports LED-backlight IPS display with 1024x768 pixel resolution. The new model is said to sport a Retina display with higher resolution. Apple is also expected to add more powerful processor in the iPad Mini tablet.


Though the sources vaguely confirm the plans of Apple iPad and iPad mini with Retina display, launch there were no specific dates shared. We expect Apple to make announcement sometime in late November or December this year.
