Samsung Galaxy Note III images surface on social network

Samsung has been quietly testing its third generation phablet, called Galaxy Note III. While the phablet is expected to release in the fall this year, the images of the device were leaked over Weibo, a Chinese microblogging social network platform. Spotted by UnwiredView , one of the images is likely to be of a prototype or fake. However, other image shot shows purported Galaxy Note III phablet.

After several rumors being spun around the upcoming Galaxy Note III phablet, the changes are bit obvious. For starters, Samsung will pack a bigger 5.9-inch Super Amoled display with full 1080p HD resolution natively. Samsung is expected to use the eight-core Samsung Exynos 5 Octa mobile processor in this phablet and pack 2 GB RAM.

The leaked image shows slimmer and larger display bearing Samsung branded Note family device. There is a button on the right bezel and a smaller home button is clearly visible. Also, the design of the Galaxy Note III seems to be inspired by the Galaxy S4 design. The device is expected to run the Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean update with Nature UX 2 layered on top of it.

Samsung has different plans for the Galaxy Note III this year as the company is rumored to launch it before the IFA 2013 in Berlin, in August this year. As for India, the device is buzzed to be expected just before Diwali festival.
