Images of Samsung's third generation smartphone-tablet hybrid device - Galaxy Note III - have been revealed. The images, posted on SamMobile , are that of a prototype unit. So far, only images have been available along with purported specifications. Samsung is expected to formally show off the Galaxy Note III at the IFA 2013 even which is to be held in Berlin (Germany) from September 6 onwards.
The large screen smartphone-tablet hybrid will obviously come with number of enhancements to compete with several other devices announced in the market. This phablet will sport a 5.99-inch Super Amoled display which will obviously sport full 1080p HD resolution natively. Thereby, the display offers about 368 pixels per inch pixel density. Samsung will the new eight-core Samsung Exynos 5 Octa mobile processor with about 2 GB RAM hopefully. The company also plans to release a variant with a quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 mobile processor inside.
Samsung will use the Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean update as the base for the new Nature UX on the Galaxy Note III. There would be new apps to support the S Pen stylus that will come bundled along. We also look forward to significant battery power bump.
