Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 starting as low as Rs 12,000


Just about a couple of weeks back we got to know about the Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 with an 8 inch display. But the Korean mobile device maker will be launching not just one but three different versions of the tablet, according to a report . The tablet range will start form as low as $199 or Rs 12,000 approximately for the low end Galaxy Tab 3 powered with Marvell processor and a 7 inch display.


The 7 inch display of Galaxy Tab 3 will have 1024 x 600 pixel resolution. Besides, it will have a 1.2 GHz dual-core Marvell processor and Android Jelly Bean 4.1 operating system. There will also be a 3 megapixel camera on the back and a 1.3 megapixel camera on the front of the tablet. Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 is expected to have 8 GB of internal storage along with a memory card slot for additional memory.


As reported earlier also, an 8 inch version of Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 is also in the making. This version will have a 1.5-GHz Samsung Exynos dual-core processor as the Samsung Galaxy Mega smartphones. It will run Android Jelly Bean 4.2 operating system. The 8 inch display of the tablet will feature 1280 x 800 pixel resolution. Besides, the tablet will have 5 megapixel rear camera, 1.3 megapixel front camera, 16 GB internal storage and memory card support for 32/64 GB additional memory. The tablet will be priced at $299 or Rs 18,000.


The Galaxy Tab 3 10.1 inch will be the first ever tablet form Samsung to feature an Intel processor. The Galaxy Tab 3 10.1 will be based on a 1.6 GHz Intel Atom Z2560 processor. The tablet will feature Android Jelly Bean 4.2 operating system, along with 16 GB of internal storage along with expandable memory. There will also be a 3 megapixel camera on the back and a 1.3 megapixel camera on the front of the tablet. The device is to be priced at $399 or Rs 24,000.


All the three versions of the tablet are reportedly scheduled to go on sale form July 7 in the United States but only WiFi variants. In other countries, including India, the tablets can be expected towards the end of the month.
