Indian mobile phone manufacturer, Xolo, is working on its first ever Nvidia Tegra based Pay T100 and will be bringing it in the market soon.
While talking to The Mobile Indian earlier S N Rai, co-founder and director of Lava International, the parent company for Xolo had confirmed that the company is soon going to launch a device based on Nvidia Tegra platform.
Along with that Xolo is also working on another quad core processor smartphone, Lava Q2000, based on Android. When contacted about the same Xolo spokesperson declined to comment on the development. This leads us to believe that the device is in the making however the details are yet not confirmed.
The Xolo Play T1000 is expected to feature a 4.7-inch 720p IPS display and will be powered by a 1.5GHz quad-core Tegra 3 processor along with an Ultra Low Power Geforce Graphics engine. There will be 1GB of RAM and 8 GB of onboard storage for the device along with option to increase the same by 32 additional GB of storage. The device is also likely to feature an 8-megapixel rear camera and a 2-megapixel camera at the front while being powered by a 2,000mAH battery. On the operating system front the Xolo Play T1000 is likely to be running Android 4.1.1 Jelly Bean.
The Xolo Q2000 as per reports (http://www.androidnova.org/) will feature a 5.5-inch 720p display, 13 megapixel rear camera and 2 megapixel front camera. The Xolo Q2000 is likely to feature 1GB of RAM and 8 GB of onboard storage for the device along with option to increase the same by 32GB of storage. For operating system the device will feature Android 4.2 Jelly Bean and there will be a 2500 mAh battery for powering this device up.
Of course the specifications are based on rumors as of now but the device are likely to be announced in the coming few weeks/months and that is when more details about the devices will be confirmed.
