Nokia had announced the Asha 210 back in the month of April this year but had not revealed its price then. Now the single SIM variant of the Nokia Asha 210 has been listed on online stores for Rs 3,999. At present there are only a few online retailers like Saholic.com who have listed the phone on their website but more retailers are likely to offer it in coming times. The Nokia Asha 210 is expected to go on sale by end of this month.
The Nokia Asha 210 comes with a dedicated WhatsApp button and Qwerty keyboard. It comes in both single SIM and dual-SIM versions. The Series 40 Asha software version based Asha 210 has social network apps for Twitter, Facebook and Flickr.
Nokia Asha 210 features a 2.4-inch LCD display that has 320x240 pixel resolution natively. This display has 4:3 aspect ratio and 16-bit color depth. The 11.8 mm thick Asha 210 has a four row Qwerty keyboard with tightly packed keys. The space bar key is relatively larger and also acts a shortcut to start the WiFi connectivity option for the device. There are other operation keys located just above the Qwerty keyboard.
Most interesting part is the dedicated WhatsApp key which opens the pre-installed WhatsApp application. On the other side of the directional pad is the dedicated camera key to quickly capture and share images using the 2 megapixel camera. There is no flash and the camera can record low resolution video as well. Nokia has packed the FM Radio for the music and news listeners.
By default, the Asha 210 has 32 MB RAM and features a micro SD card that can support up to 32 GB micro SD card. Other special features include the phonebook integration that allows the user to launch WhatsApp directly from there. YouTube launcher comes pre-loaded to browse and stream videos. Its dual-SIM model features EasySwap technology that allows switching between the SIMs without turning off the device.
