Imaging will always be one of the major features that one keeps in mind while buying a smartphone. Microsoft's Windows Phone may not have brought the best imaging smartphones, but there are a bunch of nifty improvements in the Lens software that comes preloaded in the mobile operating system.
Beyond that, there are a number of apps available in the Windows Phone Store that can be used to capture some great images and manipulate them to look slightly different from usual ones.
Photosynth
This is probably one of the most important apps on the Windows Phone platform when it comes to imaging. Photosynth offers the user the capability to shoot interactive images in panorama. The panorama can be created by capturing images in a vertical or horizontal direction.
These panorama images can be shared over the Photosynth.net service and even Bing to tag them on Bing Maps.
