Motorola XFON gets FCC certification


Google and Motorola had been reported of working together on the upcoming flagship smartphone dubbed as the X-Phone. Now the same X-Phone or XFON has pass the Federal Communications Commission tests and got the certification. The said Motorola XFON is expected to be released for the US region through the AT&T mobile operator.

Motorola and Google teams are working closely on the Android based smartphones to save the rapidly declining market share of Motorola phones. The new FCC filing shows the backside of the Motorola XFON XT1058 device.

The Mobile Indian reported about the leaked images of the purported X-Phone or XFON device. Interesting part is the back panel of the actual device matches with the figure image in the FCC filing.


The arrival of the Motorola XFON is imminent but its availability in different regions is still a mystery. We hope that Motorola makes the XFON available to other regions including India.
