Metallic Nokia Lumia smartphone teased in a video

Nokia had sent out an invite for the launch of a new Lumia smartphone running Windows Phone 8 on May 14. Now the company has released a teaser video showing the metallic chassis and the new camera lens of the Lumia device.

The upcoming Nokia Lumia has been previously reported by The Mobile Indian as the Nokia Catwalk. This smartphone will feature a steel/aluminum alloy bearing metallic body and a protruding camera sensor at the back.

The Nokia Lumia "Catwalk" is likely to be launched as Lumia 925 or the Nokia EOS smartphone. This device will feature 4.5-inch IPS panel display with the PureMotion HD+ feature for super sensitivity and auto-adjust the colors as well as contrast based on the surrounding light. It will pack a dual-core 1.5 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 mobile processor with 1 GB RAM and a 2000 mAh battery.

Apart from the metallic chassis, the big highlight of this Lumia device would be the new camera that promises enhanced Optical Image Stabilisation for better photos in low light conditions. The camera user interface will be revised to offer Smart mode and Pro mode.

Basically, this will be one of the flagship handset in the Nokia Lumia and we hope that it does not get the lukewarm treatment that Nokia 808 PureView received. Stay tuned for the updates from the Nokia event today at London, UK.
