Karbonn will launch its third quad core phone, Karbonn Titanium S2, on May 14. The phone will come with 5 inch display with FWVGA (854x480) resolution and 1.2 GHz quad core processor.
The Android 4.1 based phone will carry a price tag of Rs 10,790, which makes it the cheapest 5 inch quad core phone in the market. Other features of the phone include 8 megapixel camera at the back and 2 megapixel camera in the front,3G , WiFi , Bluetooth , GPS access and 2100 mAH battery.
Infibeam has listed the phone for pre booking.
The phone will compete with other 5 inch quad core phones like Micromax Canvas HD A116, Karbonn Titanium S5, and phone from Xolo, Intex, Celkon, etc. Karbonn has clearly given the phone an advantage in terms of price, however the popularity of the phone will also depend on how well the phone performs in the real world.
