Xiaomi has been more or less quiet this year and we haven't really heard anything related to the successor to the popular Xiaomi Mi-3 aside from a leaked Xiaomi Mi-3S with a Snapdragon 801 chipset.
Now a blurry shot from Xiaomi's homeland China may be our first glimpse of the Xiaomi Mi-4. While the image doesn't say a lot we do see a slightly rounder front frame and slimmer bezels around the screen.
The Xiaomi Mi-4 is rumored to come with LTE connectivity, unibody metal design, a yet unreleased quad-core processor and a wide-aperture 16 MP snapper.
The screen could be a larger than 5" unit, perhaps of QHD resolution and the chipset of choice is allegedly a Snapdragon 805 or 801.
Xiaomi is certainly popular at home, it took the manufacturer just 1 second to get 10 thousand orders for the RedMi Note smartphone. Perhaps a more global approach to the next Mi flagship series will be even more profitable for the company.
