Samsung Galaxy Ace NXT goes on sale in India

It's only been a few hours since we first heard about the upcoming Galaxy V, and now another entry-level Samsung smartphone is in the news.

The Galaxy Ace NXT is apparently already in stock at one particular retailer from Mumbai, India. Below you can see photographic proof of this fact.

The new phone's specs interestingly line up perfectly with those of the Galaxy V, which looked like it was headed to Vietnam. So these two may actually be the same handset, just sporting different names for different markets (for whatever reason).

If you're from India, you can expect the Galaxy Ace NXT to sport a 4-inch touchscreen, a 1.2 GHz single-core processor, a 3MP rear camera with LED flash, and a 1500 mAh battery.

It has support for 3G networks (with 21 Mbps HSDPA and 5.76 Mbps HSUPA on the 900 and 2100 MHz bands), GPS, as well as dual-SIM functionality.

The Galaxy Ace NXT bears the model number SM-G313H, and it's been priced at INR 7,399 - or around $123 at the current exchange rates. That makes it a tad more expensive than the $108 Galaxy V, but prices do generally vary across different countries.

As for whether this handset will ever make it to other territories, that's not clear at this point.
