LG UK has confirmed to Pocket-Lint the Android Wear-powered LG G Watch is going to hit the shelves before July this year. The LG rep has also confirmed the retail price of the G Watch to be less than £180 or 220.
The smartwatch development is going at full steam and LG even demonstrated the final design over an event in Weybridge. The prototype wasn't working, but you can still can get an idea of what's the real deal should look like.
So, the LG G Watch is going to launch this summer in Europe. The global premiere should probably happen around the same time. Google has announced it has teamed up with various manufacturers to build Android Wear-powered smartwatches, so the LG G Watch won't be alone when it becomes available.
