After Samsung, LG is now reported to be planning to launch a smartphone with a curved display. CNET quoted its sources saying that LG will launch flexible display bearing smartphone dubbed as G Flex sometime in November this year.
Earlier also The Mobile Indian reported about LG's plans to introduce a smartphone with flexible display by this year end. The LG G Flex branding goes along with the new LG G2 and the new G series of Android based smartphones.
Samsung last month itself announced that it will launch a smartphone with a curved display in October, i.e this month.
Earlier this year in May, LG had demonstrated a 5-inch OLED (Organic Light Emitting Diode) panel meant for the portable devices. Over here, by flexible display means a display panel with a curve and not bendable.
