The upcoming Android 4.4 aka Kitkat would bring several new features including few image tools and a new dialer app, according to a report of GadgetHelpline . The website claimed to have got couple of photos of a Nexus smartphone running Android 4.4 Key Lime Pie (then) build dated for August 28.
The next Nexus device has been reportedly tagged as the Nexus 5 smartphone. However, the leaked images point at the Android 4.4 Key Lime Pie build from August 28 running on a Nexus 4 device codenamed Hammerhead.
As per the images, the Android 4.4 retains many existing features of Android such as Mobile Data Plan control and Wireless Display Control. However, it also has some new features including a new Dialer app and few more tools for image editing in the Gallery app. Other than that, there would be system-wide print support on the Android devices that will let the users send print commands of the document or image from the device.
The present of the model name "Nexus 4" is going to puzzle many because the Nexus 5 name has been reported lately with the hammerhead codename. We have not missed out on the fact that Google introduced the new Nexus 7 as Nexus 7 (2013) model.
