Spice Mobility has announced the Jelly Bean update for its Stellar Pinnacle Mi-530 Android smartphone. To update the smartphone from Android Ice Cream Sandwich, one has to visit Spice Stellar website and follow the steps mentioned there to complete the process.
We tried upgrading Spice Stellar Pinnacle Mi-530 through the process mentioned but could not complete it. We have raised the issue with technical team of Spice and they have assured us that the problem will be fixed at the earliest. According to Spice, there could be a minor issue with our device and other devices might not encounter any problem during the update process.
Spice Stellar Pinnacle Mi-530 is a dual-SIM (3G +3G) smartphone with a 5.3 inch IPS display with qHD (960 x 540) resolution. The phone is powered by a 1.2 GHz dual core processor along with a very healthy 1 GB RAM and 16 GB built in memory, which can be expanded further to 32 GB through a micro SD card. We have already reviewed the smartphone.
Pinnacle Mi-530 boasts of an 8 megapixel autofocus camera with dual-LED flash at the back and a 5 megapixel camera at the front. It has a Li-Polymer battery with 2550 mAh rating that claims to provide four hours and 12 minutes of talk time.
