Samsung Galaxy Core to launch later this year

Samsung has yet another higher mid-range dual-SIM smartphone - Galaxy Core, under its sleeve. The new Galaxy Core smartphone will feature a 4.3-inch display and a dual-core mobile processor. Russian website Hi-Tech Mail grabbed the images and the details about the Galaxy Core. The smartphone is expected to launch for Rs 23100 ($420) approximately later this year.

Samsung has been working to revamp its mid-range series of smartphones with new models with interesting specifications but looks similar to its Galaxy S series of smartphones. The upcoming Galaxy Core has a 4.3-inch display supporting 480x800 pixel resolution natively.

The Galaxy Core will house a dual-core 1.2 GHz mobile processor along with 768 MB RAM and 8 GB internal storage and memory card storage slot. There is a 5 megapixel camera at the back with LED Flash. This smartphone will run Android 4.1 Jelly Bean with TouchWiz user interface on top of it.

Samsung has added 1800 mAh battery to make this Dual-SIM phone run longer. This is not exactly a replacement of the Galaxy Grand smartphone but something a step down to that.
