LinkedIn refreshes its mobile application for iOS and Android


Online professional networking service, LinkedIn has announced a major update for its applications on both Android and iOS platforms.


This new update completely revamps the look and feel of the application for more interactive interaction through the mobile application itself. The new apps now offer even deeper personalisation options with a brand new navigation page.

Users can simply slide the main homepage screen to the right to reveal a customisable navigation page and customise the app as per need. There are preloaded features also in the new applications that users will find handiest for on the go usage.


Also the most sought after feature from LinkedIn members has been the ability to access live stream on discussions happening across the community and the ability to jump right in to that using the web interface. Now the new application also bring in the streams right in for the mobile devices. With this updated application release both iPhone and Android users will gain access to various LinkedIn groups and discussions taking place through their smartphone.


The updated LinkedIn apps also now has support for 15 different languages including Bahasa Indonesia, Bahasa Malaysia, English, German, Spanish, French, Korean, Italian, Japanese, Portuguese, Swedish, Chinese (Traditional, Simplified), Turkish, Dutch and Norwegian.
