Samsung Galaxy Tab S leaks alongside Flip Covers

The Samsung Galaxy Tab S is coming tomorrow at the Madison Square Garden's Tab Into Color event which Samsung is going to livestream for everyone interested.

However, if you can't wait that long, you can get another glimpse of the Galaxy Tab S today. The slate that just refuses to stay out of the spotlight has had its biggest leak yet, picture-wise. A heap of photos of the slate have surfaced and they feature a new flip cover from Samsung that's said to utilize proprietary connectors on the back panel of the tablet.

The images show that marvelous display - a WQXGA (2560 x 1600) unit of 10.5" diagonal, 288 ppi and most importantly a Super AMOLED panel. So we can expect mouth-watering contrast, deep blacks, low reflectivity for superb outdoor performance and vivid colors.

The rest of the specs include a fingerprint scanner, just like on the Galaxy S5, remote desktop functionality embedded into a Magazine UI Android 4.4.2 KitKat.

The 10.5" Galaxy Tab S is expected to have an Exynos 5 Octa 5420 chipset with a quad-core Cortex-A15 1.9 GHz and quad-core Cortex-A7 1.3 GHz processors. An 8 MP camera on the back will be able to capture 1080p video while a 2.1 MP snapper on the front will handle video calls.
