Samsung rolls out Android 4.3 for Galaxy S4 in India


Samsung has finally started pushing out the new Android 4.3 Jelly Bean update for its Galaxy S4 smartphone in India, according to Sammy Hub . Packaged as a firmware update, the new Android 4.3 Jelly Bean can be downloaded over the air or by connecting the device with Samsung Kies software.

Samsung's Galaxy S4 smartphone owners will get to enjoy the new Android 4.3 Jelly Bean features as a firmware update. This update is applicable only for the Galaxy S4 GT-I9500 model which comes with an octa-core Samsung Exynos 5 Octa mobile processor inside. In Indian market the quad core version of Galaxy S4, which has LTE capability, is not available.

Apart from the performance improvement tweaks, the firmware update also brings the KNOX support, TRIM support, new Reading mode and other improvements. Most importantly, this update brings support for the recently announced Samsung Galaxy Gear smartwatch.
