A couple of months ago a Snapdragon 800 version of the Galaxy S4 Active appeared in benchmark scores but it has been keeping quiet since. Leaked docs that show diagrams of the phone break that silence and show a phone very much like the current one.
It will have the same dimensions, same 5" 1080p LCD display with hardware buttons underneath, IP67 certification (water resistant and dust tight) and 2,600mAh battery. The only difference seems to be the chipset – Snapdragon 800 MSM8974 instead of 600 – and the LTE-Advanced connectivity that it enables.
The rumors point to South Korean availability on SKT under the model number SHV-E470S. The Galaxy S4 LTE-A is yet to become available worldwide, so there's a chance the Galaxy S4 Active LTE-A will be South Korean-only too.
