The international pre-order books for the high-end Meizu MX4 have officially opened to a great deal of enthusiasm. According to Bai Yongxiang, the CEO of Meizu, the recently announced device has already gathered an impressive 7.7 million pre-orders.
Internationally, the Meizu MX4 is available in versions with 16 or 32GB of memory on board. The former costs $449, whereas the latter will set you back $489. Both price tags include shipping and import tax to select markets in Europe, North America, Africa, Asia, Australia, and New Zealand.
There is no word on the pricing or availability of the device’s 64GB version. Power users will likely have to be a tad more patient to get their hands on it.
Considering the hardware on offer and its metal build, the Meizu MX4 is a great alternative to the high-end Android establishment. The handset packs the latest generation MediaTek MT6595 chipset with big.LITTLE architecture, 5.3” 1152x1920 IPS display by Sharp, 20.7MP Sony Exmor RS camera, and Android 4.4.4-based Flyme 4.0 OS.
