New report confirms two Samsung Galaxy S5 versions

Recently the rumor mill has been ablaze with news about Samsung's next flagship, especially with the anticipated MWC announcement date just around the corner.

Screen size and resolution has been one of the more debated points when it comes to the upcoming flagship, with numerous conflicting reports pointing to either a 1080p or QHD (2560 x 1440) display.

We've previously heard that it could actually be both and now a new report comes in to support those rumors.

The latest indications out of Korean site ETNews hint that Samsung will out a Galaxy S5 model in March with a 1080p display, followed by a "premium" S5 model several months later with a QHD display.

Both panels will feature what Samsung's marketing as a "diamond" pixel structure (that's actually been around since the S4). Nevertheless, the Korean manufacturer is reportedly having trouble producing a high yield of QHD AMOLED panels, resulting in the two separate releases.
