Top 5 Android smartphones between Rs 25,000 to Rs 30,000


The premium smartphones running Google Android mobile operating system now cost as much as a decent entry level laptop. Many look for nearly similar experience with slightly lesser hardware muscle but equal software level experience.


Many Google Android 4.1 Jelly Bean or higher based smartphones have been announced in the high-end segment. Prices of many such handsets has dwindled to hit just about Rs 30,000 or little lower than that. Most interesting is the fresh introduction of the Google Nexus experience offering LG Google Nexus 4 smartphone. But it lacks in certain department where other smartphones make up for it. Each phone in this price band offers something distinct - water resistance, display, larger battery and so on.

LG launched the Google Nexus 4 (16 GB model) in India at a fantastic price of Rs 25,990. The Nexus 4 has a 4.7-inch IPS display, constructed using Corning Gorilla Glass 2 technology, has 1280x720 pixel resolution natively. The 9.1 mm thick Nexus 4 has a Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 Pro mobile processor and 2 GB RAM to run the Android 4.2 Jelly Bean smoothly. LG has packed variety of sensors Accelerometer , Gyroscope, Barometer, Ambient Light sensor and digital Compass.

At the rear, the phone has an 8 megapixel camera with LED Flash and 1.3 megapixel camera in the front. LG has packed a 2100 mAh battery that promises about 15 hours of talk time over the 3G network.
