The Google-Asus team was reported to be working on the successor of Nexus 7 tablet. The Mobile Indian had reported that the second generation Nexus 7 tablet with Qualcomm Snapdragon series mobile processor is expected to launch in the month of July.

Bearing a narrower bezel and higher resolution display, the second generation Nexus 7 tablet will be priced aggressively but higher than the first generation Nexus 7. Google-Asus plans to compete closely with Apple and Amazon's offerings.

Nexus 7 tablet is likely to arrive with Android 4.3 Jelly Bean MR2 update or at least Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean update.
